The “New York Time's” Washington correspondent states: Mr Kellogg has expressed satisfaction with the British announcement as to relative naval parity with America. There is apparent a feeling in official circles that this announcement augured veil for the future of the conference, and it is felt here that the British officials consider cordial relations between the tv. o English-speaking countries of far greater importance than any issues wrapped in naval tonnages. It is also recognised they are keenly desirous that the conference will prove successful. AGREEMENT ON DESTROYERS. GENEVA. .July 1. - It is understood that a provisional agreement has been reached for the future construction of destroyers and similar crafts, whereby the first category is limited to 1500 tons, with a speed of 20 knots, and an age limit of 15 years.
