There was fine weather, the attendance good and £'13,802 was put through the tote, compared with £20,583 on the second day last year, a decrease of £6,781. For the meeting £24,335 was put through, as against £38,455 last year, a decrease of £14,120.

June Steeples.—Woden 1, Sanforte 2, Ilokioi 3. Won by one and threequarter lengths. Time 5.27 2-5.
