WESTLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
The Board met at .5 p.m. Present: Messrs W. J. Butler, T. R. Chestermau, J. A. Murdoch, E. A. Veils and T. \Y. Bruce. Apology "as made for the absence of Mr L. 11. Morel.
The minutes of the previous meeting were continued. Tiie outward correspondence was approved. IX WARD CO B R ESPO X PENCE. From local Government Loan# Board asking for a return of estimated loan proposals for the current year. Received.
From Kumara Borough Council asking for particulars with regard to the constitution of the Power Board.-Re-ceived, supplied already. From Secretary, notifying registration of Westland Power Ltd. at Wellington on June Bth. Received.
From Public Works Department communications regarding finalising of agreements and orders in council.— Received.
With regard to the foregoing matter, Mr J. S. Langford and (Mr J. Hannan representing flic Company, submitted the finalised agreements for signature.
The common seal of the Board as submitted to the meeting was adopted bv resolution.
The various deeds in respect to the business before the meeting were then approved by the Board and forwarded to the respective Departments, the Ender-Secret aides to be advised ac-
cordingly. The Chairman and Messrs Wells and Brttco were authorised to execute the documents and affix the seal on the return of the deeds approved from the Minister cf Public "Works. Tt. was decided to ask to have the approval facilitated as much as possible.
Satisfaction was expressed at the progress of the legal formalities which were now at a decisive point, and the meeting adjourned at 5.30 o’clock.
