BOXING.
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) MELBOURNE, June 21. Charlie Purdy, 9.8 lought a-draw with Tommy Fairhall, 9.8 last night in a fifteen rounds bout. They opened tamely but livened in the sixth. Fairhall then had a slight advantage but Purdy forced the fighting for the remaining rounds and used both hands. Ho appeared a winner at the opening of the last round but Fairhall rallied and made a draw. A majority favoured Purdy. .
