AUCKLAND HACKS. [ur TELFORArn—per press association.] AUCKLAND, June 8. For the third and final clay of the Auckland Pacing Club’s winter meeting at Ellerslie, the weather is inclined to be fine after a showery morning, but the track is very heavy. The attendance is fair.
Tkmaai Steeples.—(l) Zircon 1. (2) Pendnvis 2, (7) Syndicate 3. All started. Won by a length; third horse twenty lengths away. Time 5.26 3-5. A protest against Zircon for coming over on Pendnvies in the final stages of the Tamaki Steeples was dismissed. Orakei Hurdles.—(3) Kamehameha 1, (1) Potoanui 2, (2) Just John 3. All started. Won by four lengths; third horse a hundred yards away. Time 3.33.
York Handicap—(2) Master Doon 1, (4) True Blood 2, (11) Black Mint 3. Scr. Sun Up. Won by 3 lengths. Time 1.48 3-3.
