OPENING WAIHO BRIDGE
FIN Ml) FOR KING’S BIRTHDAY. Mr Seddon. .M.P., who was in town this morning has received advice that the Minister of Public Works will not he able to v isit South Westland as he had proposed, prior to the session. He has therefore deputed the opening of the Waiho Bridge to Mr Seddon who will visit the southern district next week. and. open, the bridge on the afternoon of the King’s Birthday. (Friday, dune 11). Mr Seddon will he at J\okalahi for the Winter Show on Wednesday afternoon. and at Matninui for the opening of the new hall on Thursday afternoon. 'J he next forenoon he will proceed to Waiho Gorge and open the bridge officially in the afternoon. Mr .1. A. Murdoch, County Chairman, will accompany Air Seddon in the southern visit, as well as other members of the AYestland County Council.
