BIG LIQUOR SEIZURE. NEW YORK, Alav 11. New York prohibition agents raided the Red Star liners “ Arabic and “Dellian,” when they docked here. The agents seized liquor valued at 185 thousand dollars, shipped junder the guise of glassware. It included prime vintages. A violation of the Volstead Act has not been clirged, but a carter, who drove up the dock to load the so-called glassware has been arrested for ail alleged violation of the tariff laws. The officials declared that a sweeping investigation would la? made to determine the consignor and the consignees. It is believed the liquor was shipped under fictitious . names from Antwerp. In view of the international comity involved, further steps will await a thorough investigation.
