I?OMR, March A The countryside round Siena iva.' thrown into a panic by the news that three dangerous criminals had escaped from a local criminal lunatic asylum and were lurking in the neighbourhood The governors of the asylum had celebrated the eiul of a carnival with an entertainment, followed by a dance in which all the lunatics took part. At the end of the festivities about midnight three, all of whom had very bad records, were found to be missing. Only after *lB hours’ search were they discovered by Fascist militia and re-arrested.
