A RAH FRA FAT STOCK SALE. A’eslerday's fixture at the above yards, being the first since the Easter holidays, was marked for its lack of enthusiasm among the butchers. The yarding comprised some very fine steers and heifers, medium and handy weights most suitable for this time ol the year, hut competition was dragging throughout the fixture, some pens Icing withdrawn, not reaching vendors’ ideas of value. The market is most uncertain. Ox beef to-day at no period of the sale exceeded 33s per hundred while extra prime heifer heel made from 25s to 30s at which prices there must be nil excellent margin in favour of the buyers. Messrs AY. Jeffries and Go’s entry comprised 08 head, 411 o( which were cows and boilers, rather many for requirements. The following sales were made:—On account of Air 0. AlcGuigan 1 heifer at £5 10s, 1 cow at £1 cs Go, 1 ditto at £l. On account of Mr li. AA iison, 1 cow at £5 ss. On account Mr A. Bradley, I cow at £5 7s Oil. On account Air P. Olsen, 2 realms at £2 Is. On account Air T. ('rough. 1 realm's at £2 10s. On account Pcevua Run, 1 runner at £5 7s Od. 1 ditto at £ I 4s, 2 cows £7 17s od, 2 steers at £0 10s, 2 ditto at £0 15s, 4 bullocks at £lO, 0 at £9 10s, i at £9. On account Afr J. Condon and Sons I heifers at £B, 3 at- £7 12s Gil, 2 at £7 7s fid, 2 at £7 7s fid, 2 at £7 12s fid, 2 at £0 7s fid, 3 at £0 ss, 4 at £O, 2 at- £5 15s. 1 at C 5 12s fid, 4 at £5 5s .
