EVERYBODYS’ PICTURES “fit 1.5.11 LUCK’ ’—TO-NIGHT. “Irish Luck” starring Thomas Aleighan, tho picture Paramount sent, a company over 7,500 miles to make, comes to the Princess Theatre to-night. The story is of Ireland—filmed “on the spot.” Victor Heerman, who made “The Confidence Man” and “Old Home Week” d irected the production. Lois Wilson heads tho supporting east in a featured role. The star, as Tom Donahue, New York traffic- cop, wins a newspaper popularity contest, which includes a trip to Europe. He decides to pass up London and Paris and visit the country his folks came from—lreland, and the picture is taken up with the adventure and romance lie finds there when he is mistaken for a young Irish nobleman and taken into the •arms of high society. Here’s the first Rig picture to he made in Ireland—and it’s the biggest of all Mcighan's picture. A copy of “Irish Luck” now rests in the official archives of Erin in Dublin Castle. ‘The picture is especially interesting to the Free State Government, because it gives a comprehensive record, in pictorial form, of the Killamoy district, including Ross Castle. Mnchross Abbey, Colleen Dawn Rock. Brick-eon Bridge, and the Meeting of the Waters, and also the famous Blarney Castle in Cork, Shine Castle, overlooking the site of the Baltic of Boyne, and many other scenes of historic interest. A Topical, Comedy and Miss Williams’ Orchestra completes the display to-night.
