CORRESPONDENCE.
AN?AC HAY. (To the Editor.) Sir- In reply to your correspondent in yesterday’s paper, re above. Is he a married man with a family? AA'ould ii be consistent for him with young children to ask them to go out and probably get a severe chill or asthma, for \iliat ! His argument cuts no ice, re no overcoats bei-ng issued to Cadets. AA’iiy not have dismissed them in the Drill Ha!! and issued coats to Territorials? That not so many Dinkum Anzac-s were not rolling up to the parade is this—They had in the four years of active service, all the mud and rain snows, etc. that tliev wanted. Because they did not roll up that is not to say their thoughts were not with their comrades who bad paid tbe penalty. Just one last word, and it is this, those wlm have not been where the whips are erne-king, should use common sense and look after the boys who will perhaps have to go through the same as DINKUM DIGGED.
