At the Town Hall last evening in the presem-o of six hundred Dick Loveridge (New Plymouth) 10.5. defeated Snivinn Jamito. 9.11. in a ten-round contest which went the lull distance. With the exception of the first two rounds which were quiet, the bout was a vigorous one. infighting predominating in the concluding stages in which Lovcridgo scored sufficient points to secure a comfortable win.
