Air AYm. Ritchie, of Koiterangi inserts a notice to trespassers in this issue. The annual ball of the Hokitika Bowling Club will be held in the Soldiers’ Hall on Friday, June 3rd. The hall annually proves to he one of the sporting successes of the season. So as not to clash with the annual seven a-side football tournament held on Cass Square on June 3rd. the Kokatahi-Koiterangi Winter Show Committee have altered their dates, and the show will be held on Tuesday. May 31st, and Wednesday, June Ist. A sports gathering will be held on the Rirnu Recreation Ground on Friday, April 22nd. A capital programme has been arranged and should prove very successful. A dance will be held in the Town Hall in the evening, for which complete arrangements have been made, the music being supplied by Ross’ orchestra.—Advt. The death of Mr William Rohloif occurred at the Christchurch Hospital on Sunday. The late Mr BolilofT was a native of the West Coast, being a son of the late Mr and Mrs C. Rohloff, of Greymouth. He was unmarried, about t!) years of age and a painter by occupation. He resided in Greymouth until a few years ago.

Some anxiety was felt at Arthur'S Pass on Saturday evening, when it was learned that a holiday party which had set out to climb the Limit Peak had failed to put in an appearance.
