P. .Marshall, who, resides at Seddou Road, Birkenhead, met wi til a serious accident on (lie Papakura Road this aflernuun. lie had been riding a motor bicycle, and came to grief. The driver of a taxicab McCall, saw Marshall lying on the road with a cut on ids head and at once took him to Dr Mcßae, who gave first aid and ordered Marshall’s removal to the hospital. He was found to have severe injuries to his head and his condition was considered serious. A SERIOUS CHARGE. AUCKLAND. Her condition to-day shows a slight improvement. ft. is alleged live struck his wife over the head with some instrument. He was remanded until Thursday hail of CIOO being allowed.

'While travelling from Dunedin to Oamarit, on Saturday morning, a car with seven occupants wont over a bank on this side of Hi IF’rove resulting in five .suffering from injuries. The driver was Alfred Hicks, of Dunedin and it appears- that he had just passed another ear and was turning hack on to the road when the ear got out of hand and went over the batik. The driver and Cecil Davey escaped uninjured. Joint Nichols (Dunedin) received head injuries Airs Nicholls was cut on the forehead and had one or two ribs broken. Mrs Hicks received head injuries and fractured a small hone in her arm. Her daughter Run Hicks, five years old, head injuries, and Mrs A. M. Davey (Dunedin) bad a fractured left leg.
