People do not always spend their money where they make it. and as the retirng age in these modern days of hectic business is liable to be young, districts that attract the retired rich are liable to attain a high standard of spending. A real policy to attract rich pleasure-lovers would have to be constructive. New Zealand lias ißuly touched the fringe of trout-fishing development. and the question of accommodation would have to he faced. The chief obstacles is division of control between several Government Departments and many Acclimatisation Societies.
