BANK OF NEW ZEALAND DIRECTORS. WELLINXGTON. March 30. •Sir Harold Beauchamp and and Mr Oliver Nicholson have been reappointed Government directors on the Bank of New Zealand. DISPUTED ( LA fAf. GISBORNE, Alareh 30. The Gisborne Harbour Board is engaged in a dispute with the New Zealand Shipping Coy. regarding Hie charges in connection with salvage operations on the Xorl huiiiboi Iniid. It is alleged that following a dispute with the Company’s officials, an agreement was entered into whereby the Board employees engaged in salvagework he paid ten shillings per lioill and other charges were definitely fixed. Tbe Board's account aggregates approximately £II,OOO. of which nearly £9OOO is said to he on the basis of agreed charges, while £2OOO is claimed as compensation for loss oi time in connection with the Board s harbour construction work.
