The most important question discussed was the treatment of tubercular eases from a Dominion standpoint,, and we cordially supported the contention of the Canterbury Board that this disease is a national question, and should be undertaken by the Government of the land. The question oP giving special consideration to Friendly Societies and timber workers was endorsed by the conference. Payment of hospital fees by Alnoris appears to be a difficulty with every Board in the Dominion and the executive appointed by the conference are to give a special report on this question at the next conference. The remits wore so numerous that many were hastily accepted, whilst many of the more important were fully discussed and as directed by the Board were supported by your delegates. and will duly be placed by the executive before the Alrnistcr pi Health with a view to having the same placed on the Statutes of the Dominion. —Received and 'adopted. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the Chairman and Air Davidson for the able manner in which they had represented the Board -at the conference.
