Similar blue and white scarves played an important part in-the reunion, after fifty-two years, of two sisters aboard the Corinthic, which arrived at Southampton. from New Zealand. They were Mrs Lilley, of Auckland, who is oil her first visit since she went to New Zealand in 1875 and Mrs Howes, .of Chelsea, who purchased two scarves in London and posted one to Mrs Lilley.
