DAVIS CEP. [Australian A- X.Z. Cable Association.] (Received this day at 9.30 a.in.) WASHINGTON, March 17. Drawings of twenty-six nations contesting the Davis Cup was held at White House lawn. Mr Coolidgc, olliciaimg, drew the first name front the cup, giving Czeeho-Slovakia a bye in the first round, after which representatives of foreign governments completed the ceremony. The draw is as follows for the first round :—Spain v. India, Sweden v. British Isles, Denmark v. Holland, Switzerland v. Austria. Ireland v. South Africa. Those drawing a bye in the first round, who contest the second round are Czechoslovakia- v. Greece, Belgium v. Poland, •lugo-Slavia v. the winner of SpainJndia match. Portugal v. Germany, Hungary v. Italy, franco v. Rouninuia. American zone.- .Japan v. Mexico, Cuba v. Canada.
