[HY TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] MISS DANIEL’S INQUEST. LONDON, March 15. Nurse McCarthy is so distraught in consequence of the ordeal she is undergoing in connection with the late Miss Daniels’ inquest investigations that it is reported she has entered a, London hospital. The examining Magistrate had officially requested that she go to Boulogne on Friday. Newspaper correspondents, both English and French, are giving long accounts of the proceedings. The “Daily Express” Boulogne correspondent sjws the investigation has now reacUKT a stage where it is possible to say definitely that vital information is being concealed by persons in Boulogne. Aliss Daniels spent at least one night in Boulogne, yet nobody can be found w ill say where. There is good reasojc to believe she was taken to one or other of the small cafes which is the rendezvous of the lowest criminals. ( Tho police point out that elaborate precautions will bo taken to shield Aliks .McCarthy from publicity, and every thing will be done to spare her feelings if she goes to Boulogne. DANIELS MYSTERY

LONDON, March 16. The latest theory is that the nurse, May Daniels, did not die oil the spot where the body was found, but at a house at Boulogne, and that the body wMs afterwards taken to the Napoleon Column, probably in a motor car, and that the broken hypodermic syringe was placed nearby as a “blind.” It is also regarded as significant that ho 1-umbreUi was placed beside her the wrong way round, with the handle domvards which a woman would not bo likely to do. It is further reported that the French police do nt believe that she was ever lost. They believe she left Nurse McCarthy for tho purpose of keepiugn a appointment of which Nurse McCarthy was ignorant, with an Englishman, whose identity is stated to be suspected.

NEW FILM CONTROL. LONDON, March 17. Tile announcement is made of formation of an Empire-wide “al British ” film organisation, involving a capital of one million pounds sterling It aims at employing the foremost British authors, producers and actors. This move foreshadows the springing up of a British “Hollywood” in the vicinity of London, in which the first studios will be available at the end of 1927.

Affiliated companies are being formed in Australia, South Africa. Canada and India.

The present organisation will he the British Incorporated Pictures, Limited. The initial capital wlil he half a million sterling. The new organisation will produce and distribute high-grade films. The affiliated companies will undertake the distribution in the Dominions and also will he producing themselves individually. Half of the capital of the British company is already assured'. The remainder will not he offered for subscription before the production of the first film, when British exhibitors will he afforded an opportunity to participate.
