TOWN HALL PICTURES. TO-NIGHT—-At 8.39 o’clock. Town Hall pictures present to-night at 8.30 p.m. the latest Truart’s Western Production “The Devil’s Partner” featuring Philo McCullough, Edward Hearn and a host of screen favourites. It is a picture play that is certain to satisfy the most ardent, admirers of fast-action melodrama woven around the western range country. Not only does “The Devil’s Partner” provide riding and fighting a. plenty, but it also offers a pretty romance, exceptional acting, and a story that keep* within the bounds of plausibility. There are many thrilling and tense situations in “The Devil’s Partner.” There is a terrific hand-to-hand encounter Ik>tween Philo McCullough and Edward Hearn on tlfe edge of a high cliff: there is a runaway horse with a girl helplessly tied to the saddle, there is a wealth of hard dangerous tiding that calls for clever and experienced horsemen. The group of players assembled for “Thp Devil’s Partner” contains a number of decided favorites. It includes, in addition to Philo McCullough and Edward Hearn, Eancv Denver, Carl Stockdalo. AVill Walling, Hayden Seven.son, Harvey Clark, Billie Latimer, Florence Leo and Fred Becker. The supports include the 7th. episode of “The Purple Riders” and the oth. chapter of the comedy serial “The Telephone Girl,” making n very complete and attractive programme.
