CANTERBURY EXCURSION
TO GREY AND HOKITIKA. 535 TICKETS BOOKED. 'By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian). CHRISTCHURCH. March 10. Mr G. K. Hunter presided at a well attended meeting of the West- Coasters Association this evening when it was reported 535 tickets had been booked for the train to Greymouth and Hokitika on March 26th. Ot these a great majority were lor Hokitika. Jt was reported that no communication had been received Irom the Gtc-\-niouth Progress League, and the Benitary was instructed to write requesting ‘advice as to Greymouth arrangements. A deputation was appointed to arrange for a second train. It was decided to suspend the issue of tickets until ibis was done. Mr A. Malian. (Organiser). said that 83 members of the Linwoud Bowline- Club 'are going, and also two Association football teams t<> Greymouth. Mr AVyalie reported that the Alanst Football Club would discuss to-morrow evening proposals to send two teams to Grcvnioutli. Mr D. J. Evans, Hokitika, wrote advisingl arrangements for their entertainment by the people at Hokniki.
