Reconstruction and cleansing work in tiie flooded towns is proceeding rapidly so far fifteen bodies have been recovered at; Ingham, hut nine are still missing. Aeroplane services are being organised to supply rations to a number of towns still isolated, owing to the destruction of railway lines. PRICE OF BREAD REDUCED. BRISBANE. February 19. As a result of a drop in flour prices the Board of Trade Commissioner in Brisbane reduced the price of bread at Charleville by a half-penny per loaf. The master bakers decided to discontinue baking if a reduction were insisted oil. and the town is now without bread.
