CYCL6nE DEATH ROLL
BRISBANE, Fell. 10. Tbo death roll in Ingham district is now 24. The flood waters are gradually re reding in all the affected areas. FLOOD PARTICULARS. BRISBANE, Feb. id. Tbo latest advices from the flood srtickon areas show the waters are receding rapidly disclosing appalling damage. At Ingham alone tbo death roll has increased to twenty-one and it is feared when cnnipleto reports are received from other districts, the number of deaths will be greatly increased. Special polic-o have been sent to all the stricken areas to assist in the burial of bodies as they are recovered.
The first, news received front Stone River which is one of the principle Cano growing districts at Herbert Diver reports enormous damage but no loss of life. A report from C’airus states a fishing party of live leit Green Island before the cyclone broke out ’and have not since been hoard 01. It is believed they perished.
