HOKITIKA v. HU NANG A. The howling match on Saturday between Hokitika and Ruuaugu resolved itself into a three rink game, defections having been caused among the visitors owing to the fatality at Runanga the previous day. The green was fairly fast and true and the afternoon extremely hot. Hokitika won by a margin of ”3 points. Mr Stevenson’s rink winning* tlie Reynolds Ifadges, Hokitika continue to hold. Mr llesliu (President i returned thanks on behalf of the visitors and trusted that equally fine weather would prevail the following week for the tournament. Mr IT. A. Thompson in the course of a reply expressed deep sympathy of members with the bereaved IJaddcley family, and also sympathy with Mr Warburton, wbn had had tlie misfortune to break his leg during the week.
