ARATIURA FAT STOCK SALE
Messrs M. Houston and Co. report: At the above sale yesterday our entry consisted of 34 head of fat cattle which were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. The hulk of our entry comprised good heifer and cow beef, prices for which were on a par with those of the previous sale, although ox beef was somewhat easier. Good medium weight ox beef realised 35s per hundred. best heifer beef 32s fid to 35s and cow beef from 25s to 30s per hundred.
We sold as follows: —On account of m. Diedriehs, 3 bullocks at £l2 2s fid. 2 at £9 2s fid. 2 heifers at £9 10s. 1 at £lO 17s 6(1, 1 slicker at £4 7s fid. I cow at £fi 10s, :i heifers at 69, 3 at .£« 7s 6(1. 1 cow at £6 17s fid, 2 hoi lons at 67 17s 6d, 2 cows at £6 2s 6d. Oh account of W. (Tinititiiigs 2 heifers at £8 17s 6(1, 2 at £8 2s fid. I at, 610 2s fid. 1 bullock at 610 2s fid. 2 cows at 68 2s fid. 2 heifers at 67. I cow at £7 17s (id, 1 at 68 2s (id ; oil account of .1. Havill 1 cow at 63 7s fid.
