THE CINEMA DISASTER. OTTAWA, Jan. 13
The Coroner’s jury at Montreal found that Ameen Laurand, the owner of the Laurier Palace Cinema, with tho assistant A rice, and the heild usher, Bas-.zy, were criminally responsible for tho death of seventy-eight children in the panic following the fire in the cinema on Sunday last. Tho accused will be charged to-mor-row.
Children under 10 were admitted to the cinema unattended by adults, which is contrary to the law of the Province of Quebec. EXPLOSION DISASTKR. VANCOUVER, Jan. 13. A message from.
