The picture opens with scenes showing The unhappy domestic life of Philip Vriford in his aunt's homo where he is the solo bread-win-ner. The scene soon shifts to a newspaper office where AYriford in the eternal grind for success rises to fame and fortune, but breaks under the strain. lie (lees from himself and meets Puddlebox, it wayfarer, and the two become delightful vagabonds having many strange and curious adventures. Puddlebox sacrifices his file to redeem Philip and the latter drifts into a small town wliero he forms an attachment for Essie Bickers. Several stirring dramatic sequences are introduced into the plot which, through a ,|uccr twist, has a surprise ending. A topical and comedy concludes a tine programme. On Friday the big special feature starring Reginald Denny in “What Happened to Jones” will be presented for one night only. Saturday—Buster Keaton in the Me-tro-Goldwyn “The Seven. Chances.”
