LONDON, Jan. 11. Gapt-ain Rostock of Bustoek-W omhell's circus was saved from death in Leicester by a lioness springing upon a lion which had attacked him. He entered the cage to attend a sick cub. when the lion broke through the partition ami started mauling him. The lioness sprang on the lion and there Was a terrific light in which the cubs joined with the mother and succeeded in dragging the lion off. Bustoek was able to crawl through the dm l ' badly torn. The fight continued till the animals were separated bv attendants. This is the second time a lioness Ij.tS saved Bustoek.
