M'ith refreshing optimism that wellknown authority, Air Primrose McConucll, states his conviction that tho New Zealand beef trade will revive and ulitmatcly become a very profitable branch of the farming industry, jn the course of an illuminating article iu the January issue of “The New Zealand Farmer, ” he points out that the world’s output of lieof is slowly hut surely falling behind the demand. There is everv reason to believe that the time is not far distant when New Zealand chilled beef will be successfully delivered in the British market, and. immediately this desired end is attained, cattle farming will experience a decided move for the better.
