LEAGUE FOOTBALL. ENGLISH BAN LIFTED. LONDON. Jan. 5. The Rughv League football clubs and the affiliated Leagues rejected by fourteen votes to thirteen AA igan’s proposal to remove the ban on all Colonial players on January Bth. A further motion supported the action of the Rughv League Council in releasing the restriction on Australian and New Zealand Rugby Union players from January 3rd. The Council decided to reduce the price of admission to the Leeds test from 15s Id to 10s Gd. It was considered that L. Brown had been sufficiently punished by being sent off the field. F. Henry having been registered a* a York player, his suspension by the New Zealand managers must terminate on January 6th. Henry played in York prior to playing in New Zealand.
