NINTH EXECUTION
CAIRO Dec. 30. i'ahmy, whoso trial was cabled on .May 25th last was to-day hanged. He displayed remarkable sang froid, even > assisting the gaoler to loosen his bands. 1 his is the ninth execution in connection with tlio murder of the Sirdar Stack. Most of the others died shrieking for mercy and struggling violently.

The German and French potash producers have concluded an agreement virtually achieving a monopoly of the potash supplies. The parties respectively will take seventy and thirty per cent of the profits till sales exceed 1)40,000 tons, after which both will share the market equally.
The principals disclaim any intention of increasing the prices, declaring that they hope that propaganda will bring them increases in the sales, and thus fiovo profits.
