Auckland Cricket Association lias decided to take 250 shares in the company to bear the expenses of the tour of' England by the New Zealand cricket team, the Chairman. 0. Fare, expressing the opinion that our best team could hold its own with a majority of the counties in England. Alt’ Nalder stated the Cricket Council intended to take five hundred'shares and also put as much money as possible into them. It was thought there would be a substantial profit from the visit of a strong Australia side this season.
