[BY TELEGRAPH —rER PRESS ASSOCIATION. ROSEIIILL RACES. . SYDNEY, Sept. 19. The Rosehill races were hold in glorious weather, and the tracks were fast. The leading New Zealand champions were suvihg themselves for the Randwick meeting, and they did not compete, but Dominion representatives managed to secure second honours in two events, and Royal Tea filled third place to Cromwell, who unexpectedly defeated Rainpion in the Rosehill Guineas. Imperial Spark battled out a great finish for the Cup with Yulaminta, suffering defeat by only half a length. The champion filly Valicare, easily accounted for The Hawk in tlio Hill S‘tlakes, and, in -so doing, put up a course record. Results: — Camellia Stakes.—Bravado (7.12) 1, allecateeu (0.9) 2, Killarney (6.13) 3. There were fifteen starters, including Cawnpore and Siaosi. Heeateen made tlio running to the half distance, where Braijiilo challenged, and won by a neck. Cawnpore finished fifth. Time 1.25). Rosehill Guineas.—Cromwell 1, Rampion 2, Royal Tea 3. Six started. King Val led into the straight from Cromwell and Rainpion, and Cromwell wont to the front at tlio Leger post, where, stalling off a challenge by Rpna pion. and Royal Tea (ridden by Munro), Cromwell won by two lengths. Royal Tea was three lengths away. Rosehill Cup.—Valnmita (8.4) Imperial Spark (7.10) 2, Resource (7.3) 3. Fifteen starters, including Count Cavour and llunnymede. Tlio early running was made by Solomon and Night Heron. with Count Cavour well placed, hut he soon fell back. Freddie C led into the straight, and the strungout field closed up before tlio distance was reached, Valnmita going to the front. Imperial Spark, who was ridden by Green, challenged, and there was a great finish, resulting in a half length win. Count Cav'our finished fifth. Time 2.19 R Hill Stakes.—Vlilicare (8.9) 1, Tile Hawk (9.0) 2, Spearfclt (8.9) 3. These were the only starters. Valicare quickly established a lead from The Hawk, passing the mile just a length ahead, and at six furlongs was two and a half lengths ahead. Rounding the bond. The Hawk closed up a little, but once the straight was reached, V ulicare came right away and won easily by four lengths. ' Time 1,38.
