AMUSEMENTS.

EYERYBODYS PICTURES.

JOHNNY HINES —TO-NIGHT,

Johnny Hines, whose inimitable characterisations on the screen have made him a popular figure throughout the country, is decidedly the idol of America's boyhood, because of his portrayal of the breezy, ambitious and energetic youth of America. For this, primarily. he is always welcome on the screen, and none accord him a greater welcome than the self-same adolescent youth-hood, which finds in Johnny Hines all the qualities they so much admire. In "The Early Bird,” with Johnny Hines in the featured role, this engaging star gives a performance that is indeed the best work of his career. The cast includes such notable .screen folic as Sigrid Holniquist, Wyndliam Standing, Edmund Brocso, Flora Finch, Aland Turner Cordon and Bradley Barker. This is not just another of those high-sounding costs which has little to do. Each of the above-named players carry their portion of this highly interesting photoplay in splendid fashion. .Sigrid Holniquist. is specially busy right throughout the entire picture, and Wyndliam Standing and Edmund ]lrec.se follow in close order. “The Early Bird has all to do with the fame to fortune rise of a milk-driver who stops at no obstacles to accomplish what lie is after, and how well lie gains his ends is all cleverly told in one of the most enjoyable pictures of the year. A Topical and Comedy completes the display to-night.

Patrons are reminded that the wonderful pictliro “The Wliito Sister” will he shown at the Princess Theatre on Monday 20th, and Tuesday 21st.
