HOKITIKA MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB

At a meeting of ladies interested in the above Club held in County Chambers on Alonday hist it was decided to form a ladies’ branch of the Club and hold the shoot on a separate night from the men. The. position of the C lub was explained to the ladies by the Committee and that it was necessary to purchase a special rifle for their shooting. To d„ this it would be necessary to run some kind of entertainment to obtain funds and after a discussion it was agreed that a Grand Euchre and Danes h<. ’.eld on October Bth. Brill. The following ladies were appointed a Committee to arrange the supper for the entertainment: —Airs Paterson. Alisses W. Thompson. Al. Maunder, N. Blair and J. Preston. It was necessary to elect a Indv delegate to the .Executive Committee and Alis Paterson was duly elected.
