At the Stadium Teddy Murton defeated Billy Grime in the 17th. round when Grime was disqualified for lauding a foul punch, which floored tho Englishman. Murton hail established a comfortable lead on points, but in tlie last two rounds, he was severely punished. PURDY TO APPEAL. CHRISTCHURCH, September 13. Charlie Purdv, the professional lightweight, who lost to W. Chambers on a. foul on Saturday night, has lodged an appeal to the New Zealand Boxing Council against the referee’s decision.
