THE CHANNEL SWIM.

LOXD.OX, September 11. It was Michel’s tenth channel attempt. He entered at Grisnez and landed at Saint Margaret’s Bay. The sea was calm except for a heavy swell in the latter part for two hours. At one period he was attacked hy cramp, but managed to overcome it by selfmassage. He was also seasick practically throughout.
