“ THE EVERLASTING WHISPER ” —TO-NIGHT. Tho dynamic Torn -Mix and his horse, Tony, arc presented in a different setting; in “ The Everlasting Whisper,” a stirring drama of Northwest, which is to be screened to-night at the Princess 'lhcatre. .Jackson Gregory’s colorful narrative serves admirably as a screen story for the popular William fox star. There is enough action to satisfy the most ardent admirers of and hi.s spirit of adventure. With Tony, Tom registers several thrills guaranteed to bring shivers of delight to the most “thrill-proof” movie fan. Ihe superb horsemanship of the film star again adds greatly to the enjoyment of the story. Gratton, the villain, attempts to trick Gloria into a hasty manage, hut is balked when Gloria discovers his plot. .Maddened to think Gratton would so deceive her, Gloria weds King to spite him. Tom is suddenly acquainted with the fact that Gloria married him to avert a

scandal. Disillusioned, determined to hold Gloria to her bargain they start for hi.s mountain home. The whole cast, is highly satisfactory but. of course, the brunt of the picture falls on the shoulders, of Tom Mix who generates more energy than any actor on the screen. Alice Calhoun, in the leading role opposite Tom, is sweet and exhibits great histrionic talent in her role. Robert Cain makes a most despicable villain, and is assisted in his villainy by Sid Jordan and George Bancroft. Others in the cast are Virginia .M.adisou. George Bcrrell and Karl Dane. J. G. Blystone, director of many of tho star’s successful pictures. simervisod this one.
