The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Statutes Revision Committee reported the Local Election and Polls Amendment Bill without amendment, and the Lands Committee reported the Laud LDu-s Amendment Bill with a minor amendment. Electrical AY ire Registration Amendment Bill. Marriage Amendment Bill. Magistrate’s Courts Amendment Bill, Hauraki Plains Bill and Town Planning Bill were put through the- final stages and passed. The Council iadjoumed at 5 P-m----until next day. theTlouse. The House met at 2.30 p.m. The Prime Alinister initiated a. debate on Imperial Affairs, in view of bis early departure to the Imperial Conference. The, discussion continued until 1 n.m., when the House rose till 2.30 p.m.
