(Australia & S.Z. Cable Association. ALLEGED MURDER Oh BLACKS. (Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) DAB WIN, Sept. 1. Mitchell, chief protector of aoorigines in West Australia has arrived in Darwin, in possession of a collection of teeth and bones alleged to lie the remains of blacks who were shot down and the bodies burned by a party ot white men. It appears a scareo was being conducted in Wviidham district for a native who was suspected of the murder of two police constables and swore in four white men as special eons'iihleS to assist in the capture. It would seem that the party came upon n group, of natives and killed a large number. Whether the nnti'es resisted or were aggressive is not at present known. The remains at twelve natives were found but twentyseven are missing anil it is presumed tins number were killed. The two constables concerned have been suspended.
