[Reuter Telegrams.] STEAMER SMASH. (Received this day at 12.25 p.m.) MOSCOW. August 30. It is reported 'hundreds of people perished when the passenger steamer Burevescinik collided with the mole as she was leaving Leningrad for Kronstadt. The accident occurred during a dense fog. The Burevescinik was trying to avert a collision with the-Ger-man steamer Groyne when she !iit the wall. A hole two meters wide was knocked in the hull and the ship sank in fifteen minutes. TRAIN SMASH. LONDON, Aug. 30. London north-east express from Newcastle to Carlisle collided with a charabanc at a level crossing at Noworth, |eleven mijes from Carlisle. It is understood the crossing gate was open. So fur as is known ten jjersons were killed.
