AIUHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Af. Houston and Co’s report. At the above sales yesterday our entry consisted of 40 lat. sheep and 38 head of fat cattle. There was a fairly good attendance of buyers, but prices at Clio commencement of the sale wero lower than those of the previous fortnight, but firmed considerably as the sale progressed and finished on a par with last sale. The quality of the cattle all round was excellent. Ox beef realized from 38s to 42s per hundred, heifer and cow beef from 34s to 38s. AA'e sold as follovm: On account of Harris Bros. 40 head fat sheep at 25s 3d; on account of AA’. R. Adamson, 2 heifers at £9 2s 6d, 2 at £9. 3 at £9 os; on account of C. and 1.. Gibb. 5 bullocks at £l2 15s, 2 cows at £9 15s. 2 at £B. 2 bullocks at £l7 10s. 2 at £ls 2s 6d. 2 heifers at £lO. 2 cows at £9 2s 6d, 3 bullocks at £l2 15s. 2 at £l4, 2 at £ls ss, 2 cows at £lO 15s, 2 at 15s.
