Each man would need at least £IOOO sterling expenses for the journey, twenty native carriers being required tor each prospector. Some reports state n thousand ounces daily are being obtained from Kdie Creek, but the returns obtained by tlio Administrator showed that for seven months ended 31st, July, the total was 10,092 ounces.
