BEDS’ MURDER-ORDER. WARSAW, July 4. At Lodz yesterday a lad of 17 fired at a policeman and killed liim. He confessed that he had been instructed by the executive committee of the Communist Party to commit the murder because the policeman hud acted as a spy and had betryed the secrets of the party. Eight members of the Ukrainian Communist Party have been sentenced to long terms of imprisonment for robbery and acts of terrorism. The party’s secret store of rifles, revolvers, grenades and ammunition has been found.
DRAYMAN killed. CHRISTCHURCH, August 23. David Thompson, aged 00, a drayman employed by the Vnipara County Council was killed by a runaway horse on Saturday when it became frightened by a train. He ran in front of the horse and was hit by a shaft.
