MEXICAN CRISIS.
[Australian & N.Z. Calle Association.) BURIED CITIES IN MEXICO. MEXICO CITY, August 16. Reports have been received of the discoveries of two buried cities. The first, a Maya city, was found near the village of Santo Elean, in Chiupan State, by a Government scientific party. The other was discovered near Juxtlahaueu, m Cuerraro State, by a ranchman. Petrified human bodies, skulls, utensils. pottery, knives, forks and fortythree white marble salons were found in the Juztlahauca caves, the location of which had long been known to local 1 ndians. MEXICO CITY, Aug. 16. Fifty persons were arrested in the Federal District in connection with what the police believe to he a plot for widespread uprisings on Sunday against the new religious regulations. The police say that uprisings were planned in the States of Poublo, Morelos, Miehoacan, Chihuahua. It is reported here that the Terminal Company, a British corporation, is preparing to file claims against the United Stales Government for several million dollars damages, suffered by the American. occupation of Vera Cruz in 1914.
