MEXICAN CRISIS.
[.Australian & N.Z. Calle Association.] ■WAR. DEPARTMENT VERSION. MEXICO CITY, August 12. The War Department has denied the reports of serious clashes in tho states of Tiehlaknn and Guanaujuto. Tt says no Catholic priests have been executed anywhere, and that no citizens have been killed in the fighting between the people and the soldiers. The War Department, however, states five citizens have been executed for crimes in connection with the religious controversy.
