KELLEW AY’S OPFNION. (Received this day at 12.25 p.m.A LONDON, August 12. Kellewav summing up the test possilulitie.s. <-ays us n howling combination England has the essential variety necessary, and is a well-balanced side. On the contrary Australia must enter the field with misgivings as to the bowling strength. On paper, England seems a certain winner, but Australia has the better test match temperament.
A CRICKET INCIDENT. Collins says the Lords incident is by no means closed. One of the terms used in a letter sent from, the pavilion to Collins after the four hoys left the field, referred to “ this most unsportsmanlike action.” Collins deeply resented the tone of the letter, and the matter is being brought before the committee of Marylebone Club.
