Public Schools XV.—Killick, Kingsley, Fleming, Tegner, Kimbault, Whittaker, Levitt, Taylor, Deniarchand, Anderal, Block, Coggnrt. Wilson, Hay and May. IV he a the game opened Collins objected 'to tho Public School fielding the whole fifteen and four boys were removed. Later however, when he was informed it was the custom, the four returned to the field. ADVERSE COMMENT. (Received this dav at 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 11. Critics generally adversely comment ■on Collins alleged unsportsmanlike action in requesting the withdrawal of four fieldsmen. It created a bad impression, all the more regrettable as tho match was against inexperienced boys. Collins stated later that the match
was discussed before he loft Australia and it was expressly understood that only eleven should field. As nothing further was done he assumed the arrangements stood.
