BERLIN, Aug. 2.

Delegates from various German Colonial Societies, including the Naval and Army Association of Tsingtau, and cognate African Unions, assembled at the opening of the German Colonial Congress, tlie “Korag” at Hamburg. The President, ill welcoming the delegates, expressed confidence in the success of a second campaign that is now being prepared, aiming at the return of the German Colonial possessions.

KILLED BY AEROPLANE. , BERLIN, Aug. 2. An aeroplane, when giving an exhibition at Heidenham, got out of control in landing, and dashed among the spectators, killing ijve and injuring seven badly. The pilot escaped with light injuries.
